This tiny town in the Dordogne has played host to a Wednesday morning market since the seventeenth century.
Word has spread in the last few hundred years, the streets fill weekly with farmers and makers from all over the region selling local produce and wares. People flock, locals and foreigners too, from nearby towns to sample the produce.
The never-ending spread of fruits and vegetables and cheeses and meats will see you fill your basket and take home the perfect picnic ingredients, to eat on your drive home, by a lake, in the wild.
p.s. We stayed at this cabin outside town.
