Tucked amongst the streets of the Jordaan is Amsterdam's own Little Italy, find authentic wood-fired pizza, aperol spritz, delis and locals hanging out.

There's a certain vibe out on the street here at dinner time - people waiting outside for their pizza boxes, cyclists making their way through the crowd, aperitivos being shared.

I noticed so many little moments sitting out here on the street eating our pizza on a Friday night in August, it felt like being a part of something real and special.

We ate our wood-fired pizza at La Perla - amazing.
