Handmade Canoe
There's all the big white boats trucking ship-fuls out by the tens and hundreds. Then there's Stephen and Michelle's boat, handmade by Stephen, taking four lucky ones out on the water to sail.
There's no motor so you'll have to do some light rowing to help the big green sails carry you. You're so close to the clear blue-green water beneath you, you can touch it and you'll no doubt get a bit wet too. If you choose to sail out towards the islands you can jump off the boat and swim. If you stay in closer to Airlie Beach for sunset you'll get some some bubbles as the sun goes down.
