Anita's ceramics studio is on the 'other' side of the river in Florence, the Oltrarno. The streets are quieter here away from the zoo that is the tourist centre (ok it's still a really beautiful zoo though).

Anita can be found in the shop most days, between the counter and her workshop in the back where she crafts all the rare pieces. A painter and ceramicist, Anita's creations are all of her own imagining; beautifully mishapen light fixtures, hanging pot plants, tea cups with paint drips and unique souvenirs of the city.

With so many stores in Florence existing just for the love of tourist money, it's exciting to find someone creating something with pure love.
